Participation in the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca is increasing belief in unity, brotherhood,equality and harmony among ethnic groups and Islamic sects and leads to more favorable attitudes towards women promoting the desire for peace and tolerance towards others, both Muslims and non-Muslims.
